This process involves gaining a lot of information through questions about your medical history, your pain, physical examinations, and diagnostic tests that can provide a fuller picture.

Our state-of-the-art diagnostic testing techniques include:

• Electromyography – Also referred to as EMG, electromyography determines which muscles or nerves are affected by your pain.
• Imaging – This is a broad range of tests, including x-rays and magnetic resonance imaging (MRI). X-rays look at your bones and joints, while MRIs look at your tissues.
• Nerve conduction studies – This type of test checks for nerve damage.
• Neurological exam – A neurological exam is performed in order to test your balance, reflexes, movements, and sensations.
