Clinical Activities: Design, implement, and market an outpatient concussion clinic within a physical therapy sports medicine clinic. Develop relationships and provide services for local Community Colleges, Universities, sports teams, and the local community in conjunction with physicians and a Certified Athletic Trainer. Provide serial assessment with Clinical evaluation and ImPACT testing as appropriate as well as treatment of sports related as well as industrial related concussions. Provide education regarding test results, nature of concussion, as well as guide exertion and return to activity/play readiness with regards to school, work, and sportsrelated activities. On-going consultation with families, coaches, Certified Athletic Trainers, physicians, and case managers regarding recommendations, course of recovery, and return to life/sports/work. Assessment and treatment is often conducted with an interdisciplinary team comprised of a Physician, Certified Athletic Trainer, Physical Therapist, and neuro-optometrist.

Clinical Activities: Provide Neuropsychological assessment, attorney education, and legal testimony for litigated cases ranging in severity from mild traumatic brain injury to catastrophic polytrauma. Provided expert testimony in San Bernardino Superior Court.

CLINICAL NEUROPSYCHOLOGIST NEUROPSYCHOLOGY/REHABILITATION SERVICES
Clinical Activities: Conduct Neuropsychological/Psychological evaluations and treatment within a post-acute brain injury program, an inpatient rehabilitation hospital and an outpatient neuropsychology clinic within an interdisciplinary treatment team. The patient population includes adults with acquired brain injury (traumatic brain injury, brain tumor, anoxia, encephalitis, etc.), spinal cord injury, stroke, dementia, amputation, and other neurological and orthopedic injuries. Clinical activities include establishing quick and effective rapport with patients and families in distress, gathering pertinent information from the medical chart, the treatment team members, and the clinical interview. Activities also include providing education on a variety of medical and psychological aspects of injury and rehabilitation, engaging in psychotherapy with patients, couples, and families, providing leadership in team rounds and family conferences, and constructing and implementing behavior plans. Psychoeducation/psychotherapy groups are also facilitated and include: Emotional Management, Relationships, Women’s Groups, Awareness, Adjustment, Executive Skills, Spinal Cord Living, Healthy Lifestyles, Caregiver Education, and Brain Injury Education.
Assessment is comprised of brief inpatient as well as comprehensive neuropsychological/psychological evaluations, including testing, scoring and interpretation of test data, clinical interviews of patient and family members, report writing, feedback of test results, and treatment based upon results. Communication of test results, recommendations, and interventions/treatment with interdisciplinary treatment team and other staff is also conducted. Additionally, supervision and teaching of graduate level students is performed.

Develop relationships and secure exclusive contracts for services with local Community Colleges, Universities, and sports teams, in conjunction with Certified Athletic Trainer. Provide serial assessment with Clinical evaluation and ImPACT testing as well as treatment of sports related concussions. Provide education regarding test results, nature of concussion, as well as guide exertion and return to activity/play readiness with regards to school, work, and sports-related activities. On-going consultation with families, coaches, Certified Athletic Trainers, and physicians regarding recommendations is provided. Work is often conducted with an interdisciplinary team comprised of a Physician, Certified Athletic Trainer, and Physical Therapist.
